The centre works from the ethos of community development and acts in the spirit of cooperation, participation, inclusion, partnership, evaluation and change. It is committed to the process of local economic and social development and sustainability and continually strives to ensure the process is supportive to local community needs. The role of The Finglas Centre is to identify the issues of poverty and exclusion that impacts people’s quality of life and participate actively in helping them address these issues, through education, training and employment processes.

Governance

The Finglas Centre is part of the Charities Regulatory Authority in complaint with the Charities Act 2009
 
The Finglas Centre is fully complaint with the Governance Code, putting in place systems and processes to ensure that the Finglas Centre  achieves its charitable objections with integrity and is managed effective, efficient, accountable and transparent at all times

Memorial Garden

The Finglas Centre through funding from DCC erected a memorial area opposite the Centre.  This Memorial is in memory of all the people of our community that have gone before us. It is a space for reflecting and remembering our loved ones 

Charity Shop

The Finglas Centre runs a charity shop with all proceeds going back into the centre, this enables us to continue providing our much needed services to the community.
